A New York based actor
Laura earned her BFA in acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Experimental Theater Wing and Stonestreet Studios. She advanced her training at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, completing the two-year Meisner intensive and the business of acting program.
Her short film, Mr. Oberbeck, which she wrote and starred in, debuted at the LES Film Festival. She was recently selected by BFD Productions to be part of their "Stay Indie" fellowship where she is developing the short into a feature: https://www.lesfilmfestival.com/stay-indie-project-participants
Laura also wrote and performed a 50-minute solo show titled "LAURA." The performance was staged at The PIT, NY Winterfest, and to sold-out crowds at Annoyance Theater NY (a New York Times featured venue).
She has been featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Chris Gethard Presents. Her favorite holiday is Shark Week.
